Meet Our Counselors

Susie Martin and her husband, Tim, have been married for 29 years. They have four children and three grand children. They are actively serving in their church. Susie’s heart to help women find freedom in Christ has led her to counsel women at BCC. She is also a gifted teacher and conference speaker. Her message of healing and hope is an encouragement to audiences of all ages.

Pastor John Ziehr received his BS degree from the University of Wisconsin, his Doctor of Chiropractic from Palmer College, and his Master of Divinity from Trinity Theological Seminary. In 1999, after fourteen years of practice, John left chiropractic to become a full-time pastor. After the message in the BCC materials transformed his marriage, the Lord burdened his heart to help others experience the same freedom in Christ. John and his wife, Rita, counseled in Wisconsin for over two years before relocating to Colorado Springs in the fall of 2004 to join the counseling staff at the BCC home office.
